About Training and Placement Department. . . .
At Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET), we are committed to enhancing our students’ career prospects through the dedicated Training and Placement (TAP) office. The office actively encourages students to gain relevant industry experience through summer or full-semester internships and semester-long placements.
Our TAP team provides comprehensive guidance to help students prepare for the rigorous recruitment and selection procedures employed by top employers. Through the relevant training provided by the Training and Placement Cell (TPC), students develop the skills, competencies, and professional experiences that significantly improve their performance during the campus recruitment process.
SVPCET has consistently improved its placement record, with over 80% of students being successfully placed in reputable organizations. The Training and Placement Center (TAP) plays a pivotal role in shaping the careers of aspiring engineers, helping them enhance their skills and achieve their professional goals. Our strong industry-academia interactions have attracted renowned multinational corporations (MNCs) to conduct on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives.
Our college maintains strong relationships with corporate houses and prestigious educational institutions, positioning us as an ideal partner for both educationists and entrepreneurs. The placement team works diligently throughout the year to ensure that students receive successful and respectable placements with esteemed organizations.
At TAP, we emphasize the three key factors that spell success: Ability, Motivation, and Attitude. Engineers today need a combination of outstanding technical expertise and effective interpersonal skills to thrive in an ever-evolving and competitive technical world. With increasing recognition from recruiters for our abundant talent pool and state-of-the-art facilities, SVPCET’s placement process is designed to align with both the needs of recruiters and the aspirations of our students.
