Programme Education Objectives (PEOs)

PEO 1 : Graduates will have strong fundamental knowledge in core areas.
PEO 2 : Graduates will have skills and knowledge to formulate, analyze and solve problems in mechanical                         engineering to meet global challenges.
PEO 3 : Graduates will be a strong desire for continuous learning by pursuing higher education and research in                 the  allied areas of science and technology.
PEO 4 : Graduates will be able to work with multidiscipline field of engineering so as to enlarge the ability among               the students to understand the different industrial environments.
PEO 5 : Graduates will have awareness towards social, environmental and energy related issues.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1- Engineering knowledge:Ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Mechanical Engineering fundamentals for solving problems.

PO2- Problem analysis:Ability to Identify, formulate and analyze Mechanical Engineering problems arriving at meaningful conclusions involving mathematical inferences.

PO3- Design/development of solutions:Ability to design and develop Mechanical components and processes to meet desired needs considering public health, safety, cultural, social, and Environmental aspects.

PO4- Conduct investigations of complex problems:Ability to understand and investigate complex Mechanical Engineering problems experimentally.

PO5- Modern tool usage:Ability to apply modern engineering tools, techniques and resources to solve complex Mechanical Engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO6- The Engineer and Society:Ability to understand the effect of Mechanical Engineering solutions on legal, cultural, social, public health and safety aspects.
